Tower garden newbie here too
— I had a similar issue with arugula early on. A few things that might help:
I recently write about hydroponic arugula experience from a blog and what worked for me (just sharing what I learned, not selling anything) — feel free to DM if you want the blog link or have questions! Happy growing
It's right?

- Check your nutrient levels and pH – Arugula likes slightly acidic water (around 6.0–6.5), and if nutrients are too low, it can stunt growth.
- Lights – Make sure it’s getting enough hours of strong light. If indoors, aim for at least 12–14 hrs daily.
- Water temp & airflow – Warm water or poor airflow can stress baby greens and make them bitter.
- Curling leaves sometimes mean too much light or nutrient imbalance.
